Stocking list for my 20

Here is what i will be planning on getting for my planted 20 gallon long tank.

3 platys
8 neon or cardinal tetras
2 black phantom or black skirt tetras
3 hatchet fish
1 candy stripe or bristlenose pleco
4 corys
3 otos
1 dwarf gourami

I know that thsi is mroe then advised for a 20 but for filtration i have a penguin 170 n AC mini and i will be getting an eheim ecco.

Looking good ... Although, if you get black phantoms they like to have a shoal of at least 4, they might not feel as safe if there's only two. I don't know if you should get more black skirts.... I don't have any experience with them.

I have 5 Black Skirt Tetra (Gymnocorymbus ternetzi) in my 20 tall. They tend to spread out a bit through out the tank, and only school when something startles them. They tend to stay spread out even when my Kribs are chasing them.

All advice helps! My goal for this tank is too have fish of all shapes, and not really sizes because they all stay under 5 inches.
It doesnt matter if the black skirt tetras school or not, thats why i have the cardinals or tetras. I guess i will get 2 more black skirt tetras if what puma said is correct.

I was wondering if just one rena filstar xp2 cannister filter would be enough? Sicne hte tank will be planted, HOB fitlers make the tank lose co2 and i want to have a lower water level. I think it would be cool if the plants flowered out of the water.

Breeding platys

if the platys start breeding, you could get overstocked pretty fast.

I know, my lfs would probably take the fry for me. Any one have any opinions on the filstar?
