Well it is time to stock me 54g corner tank.
Here is what I was thinking, please help me modify the list or add other ideas.
I really want a powder blue dwarf gourami and a blue ram
here are the others I am thinkin of
1 golden wonderer
6 black neon tetra
6 cherry barbs
6 rio von tetra
4-6 cories
1 red tail shark
I would like if I can add anymore fish some other fish with color. Thinkin of a school of glolight tetra.
My filter is the biggest Aquaclear they make.
Can I add a dwarf african frog?

no frogs ADFS in a 54 gallon. they will not be able to get up to the surface of the tank fast ebnough and they will drown in the tank.

golden wonder killis get to be pretty big and may start to eat your other fish, the neons for sure. red tailed sharks get pretty aggressive towards other fish in the tank as they age, especially the ones that dwall around the bottom half of the tank.

blue gouramis will kill anything that is smaller than they are. stay away from them.

If the Gourami kills anything smaller then themselves, what would you recommend for a center piece fish?
The golden wonderer is a Killifish.

Jm1212, We were refering to powder blue DWARF gouramies. They are definately NOT aggresive.

About the frogs, if you have a large piece of driftwood that almost goes to the top, you can have frogs.

if you were refering to powder blue dwarf oguramis, then you shouldve said so. there is a huge difference between temperments and size with the blue gourami and the powder blue dwarf gourami.
blue gouramis are very aggressive and grow to be 6 inches long
powder blue dwarf gouramis are very peaceful and only get to around 2.5-3 inches long.

just because you have a peice of driftwood that extends close to the surface does not mean the forgs are only going to stay on the driftwood.

as for a peacful centerpeice fish, pearl gouramis will make a great addition to your tank if you skip the golden wonder killi.
golden wonder killis will eat anything that will fit in their mouths. they grow fast and soon the neons will start to look like lunch. goldern wonder killis are ambush preadators and will strike down from the surface of the water onto a unsuspecting little fish like a neon.

So get scratch the killi fish, frogs and the barbs.
One powder blue Dwarf gourami and one blue ram are definates
Any other recomandations on colorful active fish.
Thanks guys for the advise so far.
