Stocking proposal.

40 gallons (36 inch long). Planted. Water is acidic (in the sixes), presumably soft (haven't got a hardness test kit yet) with a small amount of tannins. Plenty of hiding places/caves provided amongst extensive driftwood. Canister filter with plenty of bio-media.

This is kind of what I'm thinking now:

2 German Blue Rams (a pair)
1 Keyhole Cichlid
5 Peppered Corydoras
15 Neon Tetras

Does that sound reasonable? Should I increase or decrease any numbers?
Anyone's opinions on my list are most welcome.

I would get either the keyhole or the rams, not both.

Na the keyhole and Rams should get along fine. They are both peacefully cichlid's and in 40 gallons I imagine they will have plenty of territory for them.
