Thanks gmh.
This is a temporary situation, a few months at the longest I am guessing.
I can also trade shrimp to my lfs to reduce population which I plan to do.
I know otos can be hard to feed. I was concerned about having them in a bare QT tank but they ate algae wafers ok and look fairly plump. I think they are certainly happier in the planted tank. I plan to grow some algae especially for them on some small rocks that I can remove and regrow.
I am most concerned about the otos as the nerites are algae eating machines and I want to make sure there is enough for the cute little suckerfaces!
