i'v been floating around your wonderfull forum for about a month now while getting info for my new tank.... and i must say its awesome! i'v learned a whole bunch.

I got a couple of questions for my 10Gal here are the specs
standard 10Gal
Undergravel Filter
75 degrees
airstone
0ppm amonia
0ppm nitrite

right now i have 3 zebra dianos that i used to cycle it and about a week ago i added 2 dwarf gouramis One light blue one and another sunburst one, blue/orange

i was just reading that 2 dwarf gouramis in a 10gal tank might be a bad idea because they are territorial???

and what else should i add to my tank? i'm up for anything right now. I just dont know what fish will work with mine.

i hope this all makes sence...

dwarf gourami's vary a lot in aggression. Some are, some aren't. Lots of plants and caves to break up the view is the best bet but make sure you leave room near the top of the water for the danio's to swim. there are still a lot of options for you to add to your tank so it really depends on your likes although you don't have any type of cleanup crew listed 2-4 small cory catfish for bottom feeders would make a nice addition. Most any peaceful community fish can be added to the tank. the gourami's are going to limit your number of fish due to their size/bio-load compared to smaller fish. As long as you don't have one fish bullying the other, the 2 in the 10 will be fine. If you only have the undergravel filter, I would make your next purchase a small hang-on-back type power filter. You can pick up these anywhere including wal-mart. a UGF in standard mode really does nothing but trap all the waste in the gravel and makes it harder to vacuum. If you had a powerhead running a UGF in reverse flow, that would be a different matter. Kyle

I agree with snakeskinner, see if you can add some hiding spots/camoflauge (sp?) for the gouramis. They may or may not be aggressive to each other, but better safe than sorry. I also agree that you should look into some bottom clean up crew... cories or maybe some shrimp?

because i dont know any better :)

what should my tempature be set at?

i'v already got 4 plastic plants in my aquarium and a stone looking thing that i got at my lps. So they have room to hide....

i was planning on adding some cory cats also...

so if i added a cory cat do you think that would max out my bioload?
