Stocking Suggestions, 75 Gal

Making plans for a riverine cichlid set up for my new 75gal:dance2:

I have like a 100lbs of lace rock..I want to sell it (am in southern GA!) and put alot of driftwood in there with some smooth river rocks. lots of anubias, valisneria, and some hornwort

with a very fine, natural substrate


So far, I'd like to stock it with

a synodontis eupterus
an elephant nose

and of course, a number of riverine cichlids.
Any advice of what species, and how many of each I should plan for?

Kribs maybe? what about a south american community tank instead? hmm

Some of those SA cichlids are so appealing, but I really want to try to make as realistic a biotope with indigenous species as possible

thanks for the suggestions. i think I'm going to try African bush fish, like http://www.thetropicaltank.co.uk/Fishindx/cteno-ac.htm

in addition to some of the larger W. African cichlids. An8" fish can't eat a 4" fish..right?

I wouldn't say that follows automatically...if Fish A can fit Fish B into its mouth there's always a risk...what species are you talking about ?
