stocking suggestions

Yeah I've already surmised that I would end up doing the maintenance. I do regular testing and weekly water changes on the tanks I already have. I cycle all my tanks with Bio-Spira as it's not that much and readily available at an LFS here in town.

The reason I always ask stocking questions is because I am still fairly new to fishkeeping and haven't really been introduced to a lot of fish I could probably keep in the tank sizes I have.

Actually I think I may just keep the guppies because they all wanted those. The tetras one of them mentioned but I think I might stray them away from those as Neons look very similar to the cardinals I already have. They are pretty open to suggestions.

Thanks all so far. Keep any suggestions coming for any fish that go good with Guppies.

what about 3 or 4 corys along with a few guppys?

The shrimp sound like a good idea.

In a 10 gallon you could get away with some dwarf corys... habrosus, hastatus, or pygmaeus. They are quite fun to watch and stay pretty small.

I think most people on here are more experienced than I am in fish keeping but won't guppies quickly overpopulate a 10 gallon tank???
