Hi, i have two tanks, one 10gallon and one 18 gallon hexagon tank.
Right now in my 10 gallon i have
4 platies (2 male & 2 female)
3 ghost shrimp

In the 18 gallon
2 white cloud minnows
4 neon tetras

Both tanks have finished cycling, thankfully!
My question is this: What else can i put in the tanks?
Is 3 ghost shrimp enough for a cleaning crew for the 10 gallon?
I would like to put a dwarf gourami in the 10 gallon, is that a good idea?
Thanks, Chantell

yea u could put a dwarf gouramis in the 10g work for me..

In the 10, a dwarf gourami woud be good, although that would pretty much finish it off.

In the 18 gallon, you need to get atleast 4 more white clouds and atleast 2 more neon tetras as this is essential to there mental health. After that, asumming that you only end up with six of each of those fish, I would add 6 bronze corys (another schooling fish) and 3 female bettas (coourations of your choice).

Please note: Please do not buy any of the fish anyone suggests to you unless you have researched there care and are confident you can care for them. Also note that the drawf gouramis and bettas don't always work, although it usually does. www.planetcatfish.com is a good place to research various catfish (including bronze corys) and www.aquahobby.com is a good place to research a wide away of fresh and saltwater fish, and aquariums in general.

So for the 10 gallon, I could keep the 4 platys, 3 ghost shrimp and add a dwarf gourami. Are there enough ghost shrimp for the cleanup and algea?

Isn't the bronze corys going to be to big? they grow to 3" right? Iam slowly stocking the white clouds and tetras. Would bettas be a good choice for the 18 gallon?
Thanks for the advice, i have been researching alot.

Alright here is what i have done. I have switched the neon and the platys, moved the neon to 10 gallon and platys to 18 gallon. Today i am getting 2 more neons to add to the 4, and 4 more whit clouds to add to the 2 in the 18 gallon.
This will bring my tanks to these levels
10 gallon
-6 neons tetras
-3 ghost shrimp

18gallon
-4 platys
-6white cloud minnows

I was thinking on getting some otos or a pygmy cory (they grow to be 3 cm)for the 18 gallon. Which one would be better? What else would be a good addition to the 18 gallon??
After putting in the fish today, how long to i have to wait till i can put more in? I have been waiting 9 days in between.
Thanks for the advice,
Chantell
