:rant2:  Hiya, I have 2 rainbowfish, 2 clown loaches, 4 angels, 6 zebra danios, 2 ramhorn snails, 2 african dwarf frogs, and 4 otocinclus in a 55g planted tank. I'd like to add a few more fishies and then that will be it. Any suggestions as I'm new to fishkeeping. Something hardy and colorful would be nice or something that breeds like crazy so I have an excuse to buy more aquariums.

I would suggest 4 more Rainbowfish. They are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of 6 or more.

I would too, however he has 4 angelfish in there and that will overstock the tank. Not to mention the fact that angelfish and rainbowfish really do not make good tank mates. The angelfish will get in the bows face and vice versa.

Yeah, good point. :duh: :o

Maybe I'm partial to Rainbowfish, but I would return the angels and build the bow school instead.

Of course you could always keep the angels and return the bows instead...comes down to personal preference.

Yep :)

I would return the bows, if it were me. They really need to be in a school of six or more (as you know ;) ) and there's no space for a school of that type with the angelfish.

PS How are your Boesemani doing? I've got unplanned Boe fry in my big tank!
