storing fish food....freeze it?

I was wondering how to store fish food so it doesnt get old. i have heard that you can freeze the extras and use them later. how do you suggest to store fish food

Keep it away from light, and keep it cool, and keep moisture away from it.

I many times will buy food in bulk and will store it in the freezer. I have a seperate, smaller container that I use to keep the food in between refills from the bulk, frozen food. Freeze-dried food, especially krill, lasts much longer if it is kept in the freezer. If you are worried about moisture, you can toss a pack of silica gel/desiccant in the food container.

I lock mine up in a Zip-lock. It stays "fresh" for a while. But Iv only tried this on flakes, not sure what else will work.

I freeze nearly everything. Hermit crab food, bread, coffee, cookies I make in bulk, etc. Its a great idea, go for it.
