Strange eggy things...from MTS?

Posting for a friend...he found these in his tank:

"They appear to have come out of Malaysian trumpet snails. Do they ever lay eggs instead of giving live birth? Snail parasites???"

I'll try to find out what else is in the tank.

MTS are livebearers so I doubt it.

I don't think those are MTS eggs, as far as I know they're exclusively live-bearing.
