Does a growing fish shed their mucous coat? I ask because i have a lima shovelnose that is growing quite fast and i've seen it shed its mucous coat a couple times.
I also suspect it may be from stress because i recently rearranged the tank, forcing the fish to settle down in new places. Any input is appreciated.
