Stress Zyme

We have had mixed reports about this stuff. We used it at first. On Saturday we are gatting a pleco and a used filter (the spongy bit). Should we still use Stress Zyme?

IMO, no. Stress zyme only contains enzymes to help colonate the beneficial bacteria, however, it will still take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to cycle your tank (I learned this the hard way). Do you have any fish yet? If not, hold off on getting the pleco and do a fishless cycle. If you need help on how to cycle (only if you don't know) there are many articles on this site that explain. Just go to the search bar at the upper right coner and type fishless cycle. Post back for extra help if needed.

W'eve had reports that it can be dodgy and aren't gonna use it anymore.
