Hi, I'm new here and to the aquarium hobby. My panther grouper is acting very strange. I noticed about a month ago that he had a red worm like 'J' by his mouth. I asked all the "pet experts" and they were no help. Water quality is very good. My tank is a 55 gallon with 4 fish: the grouper, niger trigger, yellow tang, and emperor snapper. The grouper is the only one acting unusual. I just started a 5 day treatment of lifeguard tablets. I NEED some ADVICE on what to do. If anybody can help, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks

Could it have had a scuffel with one of your other fish? fwiw I'd agree you'll need a much larger set up to keep your fish happy and healthy! WELCOME TO A.C.!
