Stuck on Schooling Fish

How about diamond tetras? Of course they tend to form a loose school, with various members straying off in different directions, but they sure are pretty. And when they spawn their "flashing" is a sight to behold.

Hengeli or espei rasboras.
Here's a pic of the espei: http://aquavisie.retry.org/Database/Vissen/Rasbora_espei.html

That pic is pretty accurate as to their color. I have one espei and 8 hengeli. (I ordered a completely different fish but that's what they got in and I took them anyway.) The Hengeli are very similarly colored but less vibrant and they lack the orange eye of the espei.

I've got 9 of these guys in a planted 10 gallon with some cherry shrimp and a nerite snail. They stay pretty tightly together even though there is no other threat to them. They eat anything and everything and have been very easy to keep. I've had them about a year and a half now. Love em!
