Good news, my pictus lost the piece of netting stuck on the top spike. I saw him flipping over onto his back a couple times trying to lose it. I was sitting in front of the aquarium and he started coming right up to the glass and then scrurries away. I sat still for awhile and he even ventured close and tried to touch my face with his feelers, staring me eye to eye. Its funny that after moving to the big tank he is not as shy anymore. I rarely saw him in the 25g, hiding at the back all the time. I wonder if being caught in the net and getting freed has won his trust? I suppose I'm extrapolating now lol..... Pictus is a nice fish for anyone interested, fun to watch as he is quite speedy at times.
