The Sunpaq is only the lamp. It is daylight/actinic so it's not ideal for growing plants. The actinic side won't help any. It's great for a mini-reef though.

I have no idea how much life they have in them. I tested them and they all work. The temperatures don't really sound suitable for plant growth, but according to the package, they are. The spectrum graph also looks good for plants with peaks in red and blue.
