I just realized that is the Aquabid pic. Hopefully it will just as beautiful in your home!

Good luck with the breeding and keep us up to date on your progress. There might be some interesting colouration in the offspring.
Being a hockey fan, those are the team colours of the St. Louis Blues. So, I'd call him Blue, or St. Lou.

Yes, that is the aquabid pic, he is not due to arrive until Jan 16th, so I have to wait a little while. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the photo hasn't been tampered with in any way.
I have never bred bettas before, but I do know someone who breeds all the time who I'm going to ask for help. Maybe he'll just take care of it for me in exchange for some of the kids.
I will keep you all posted on my progress and some photos when he arrives (although I do suck at taking fish pics, so don't expect anything good, lol). I will also let you know when I have kids, and if you're interested you can PM me!
Phoenix is a cool name, I will consider it. The others are cool too, it's hard to choose!

I have never bred bettas and never wanted to even though I always have one male in each community tank. If you get anything in the way of offspring that look like that one please PM me and I just may look at them. That one is pure gold, if he really looks like that.
I was about to suggest Nova lol
Because he looks like an exploding star. And because his colors look like that of Marvel Comic character Nova lol. Looks like Im the geek now hehe :grinyes:
