Stunted Chocolate cichlid

It's survival of the fitest. He showed he is a strong dominant male and for that he gets to spread his genes with his mate.

Hmmmm hope Kyle is ok (Nano Cichlids). He is in Hawaii and they got hit with a Psunami after that huge quake in Japan of a magnitude 8.9
 
Still he wasn't inland at least don't think he was. Maybe he will chime in later on.



Hey so how bout them cutteri? Any updates?
 
The cutteri are still kicking. I can't wait to see the juvies grow up, I'm really hoping one of the two is a male so I can have a pair. I'll try and get some pics of them soon. They're cool little fish. I'm also hoping to snag the nanos at the auction on Sunday.
 
thanks for The worries! We were evacuated to high floors on the hotel, to be honest I slept trough it hahahahaha we only got some 3 - 5 swells the surfers were enjoying the waves. On this side of the island we don't get very large waves. Looking back at your photos you are right he's stunted sorry for the false information, I'm running on a 4G USB port connection... Not exactly the best downloading speed. I hope he turns out nice for you, maybe if your lucky you'll get a pair.
 
Here's some updated pics. I think he's looking better already, though he's got a ways to go. He's started to get a little iridescence to his scales. I'm going to keep up bi-weekly water changes for a while, I think clean water is the best way to help a fish heal.
