i have a green blood parrot i was told that the green will eventually fade and he will be all white is that true thanks.

if he's green it may be that he is dyed unfortunately. I understand that if so yes the dye will fade.

Seems to be a little too late for that...

chadly, your fish is dyed. In time the dye will fade, and the fish will turn a shade of orange. Mine are bright orange, but undyed, so I don't know if the dyeing process would affect the fish's eventual color change or not (undyed parrots start out gray, and turn bright orange). The dyeing process is extremely stressful to the fish, and it will likely have stunted growth and a shortened lifespan as a result.

Please don't support this practice in the future. Any fish that doesn't look like it is a natural color, probably isn't.
