Stack a few of them in front of the heater...

Gotta block that heater somehow. Drape some mesh around it, stick a fish net in front of it, lean a piece of slate over it, lay the heater down horizontally on the bottom of the tank, or stick the heater in the filter somehow. Somethin'!

My kid just said..... put another heater in the tank and unplug that one. then they have the one they like to spawn on and the other heater for heat.... oh and if this works, can I have a few babies ( will pay of course) after all, I think this will work!!!

my vote it to turn it off and install a different one.

stacking stuff around the heater or in front of it may affect the efficiency of the heater.
