So like a week ago after reading alot about over filtration being good i deceided to throw on another filter to my 30g. I have them both on the back and on opposite ends of the tank. I guess my question is, is this the right setup when running 2 filters? Or should i have them near each other? Silly question i know but was just curious. Thx

I don't think there's a right answer to this, but I do keep mine on either end as well. This allows for more coverage than if they were placed next to each other.

Ok thx was just curious if i was creating some sort of vortex and not gettin the same filtration. Like i said silly but was just curious

I run more than one filter all the time. Generally try to space them apart, but it mostly depends on how the intakes and returns fit best to be clear of a bubble wand and center brace. Just watch how well the water flows around once you get them both running.

And, your decor can affect the flow patterns. Play with their positioning to see what works best for your tank.
