Quick stupid question.... I have a 4" albino chocolate pleco that is in a tank too small for him, I have a 55 I want to put him into but it has a sand substrate - is that okay? Oh yeah, the 55 has clowns and rainbows by the way.

I have always kept plecos with sand. No problems. Although they sometimes eat some while eating algae disks or whatever, but it comes out with everything else.
