Submersible Mag Drive as external?!

Hey fellow hobbyists!

I was just wondering if I'd be able to use a submersible mag drive 12 for a return pump... sump is 30x12x18. Only thing is i'd like to use it as an external. The pump is rated for 1200gph so should be enough flow!

According to their website it can be mounted as an inline pump. But you might want to browse this PDF and whatever else they have on their site about an inline install..
