Anybody use these before? I saw them in the Big al's catalog and am curious if they are any good or not.

I'm starting to cycle my 90 soooo...... I'm trying to do some Planning out.

thanks!
:girl:

Nerver used submersable spots before, but I have used submersable 48 inch fluorescent bulbs before and they give a great lighting effect. I assume they would be similar. ;)

Sounds like a cool idea- except that since the purpose of a fish tank is to simulate a natural environment (and look cool) it might be a little stressful to the fish at first (then theyl get used to it)
If you set it up- post some pics- sounds like a cool idea!

well I would have them on timers but maybe a seperate timer for an hour or two extra at night and early morning............ but I wanna know if Anyone else has used them first before I invest! :D

Hi Torn

We are currently using them in our pond at the store. It's been over a year now with no problems.

Wow, thanks for the info Scotty and those are EXACTLY the same lights I was talking about. Scared me for a second, forgot you are in Canada so the pirce was WAY different.

They look pretty bright maybe that is too much for a 90 gal?
What do you think?
