I was looking around in my crab terrium and saw what I thought at first were bugs. Turns out that my Vampire crabs had babies! So it turns out that they don't need any standing freshwater for breeding, just the correct temperatures and humidity. This little guys is now a dad to about 12 crablets

Congrats! They are adorable! Looks like they are already busy exploring lol

It took almost a year to get them to breed, but it finally happened =)

Awesome! Congrats... =)

congrats dood

congrats!

It's a terrarium setup, 20gal long all-glass tank, 20W lifeglo light, hermit crab heat pad, 60% ecoearth(cocca fiber), 40% sand. Shallow water dish, and a ultrasonic mist maker. No deep water though the tank is nearly sealed so it's very humid in there. Some live bromeliads and a few plastic aquarium plants.
