I have a problem where my suction cups on my heater keep on coming unstuck to the wall. It is getting old having to reach in there everyother day to stick it back to the wall. Anyone have any tricks on keeping them to stick?

If you can, try sticking them on above the water line and sliding them around to the correct location. This seems to work better than applying them under water. Make sure they are new--we replace the ones in the SW systems regularly. I suspect it has something to do with the type of rubber that's used, but they get brittle quicker in SW than in FW.
In my FW tanks, I get a could bacterial growth on mine. You can't see it, but it feels like there's a coating on the cups. That has to be scraped off before mine will stick.
