are they easy little guys to keep? and what kind of setup would i need for one? fish are fun and all, but i want something i can play with and bond. ive already got dogs, but i want a little guy.

I want one also....My brother had someone who lived next door a while ago and his neighbor had a sugarglider. My brother didn't like it but sounded sweet to me.
I've seen them at friend's houses before. It seemed like they were pretty shy creatures and primarily nocturnal as well as prone to stress. The one they had spent most of its time during the day hiding in it's box, but at night would come out and play. You may also want to see how compatable your dogs would be with one.
my bedroom is the only room that is upstairs and the dogs never go up there. we have a dachound and a mutt. both are small dogs, we have one large dog (a monster nuffy) , but its an outdoor dog. i dont mind it being a nocturnal creature, it would give me someone to talk and play with at night when i lay awake.
My brothers been thinking about getting one for awhile, from what I've seen and heard though most people like Ferrets over Sugar Gliders. Bearded Dragons also make great companions.
id get a ferret, but my friend has one and it is stinky. its fun though, i want a sugar glider though.....
Well, I mean if that's really what you have your mind set on then go for it. I would do some research before deciding though, they can live for a long time.
Loud loud little creatures. Very cute though.. I just wouldn't want one anywhere near my bedroom.
Don't ever underestimate the prey drive of a dog, especially if they know a small furry critter is somewhere in the house.
Ever consider rats? We have two, and they are surprisingly social and affectionate little animals. And very clever.
My neighbor had a rat and it was a great pet, smart and a great companion. I agree with the dogs too, I have a Guinea Pig and my dog (who never went upstairs before) will go upstairs and try to break in the cage. So, just make sure your room is closed and the dog can't get in.
