I am stil here!!! for anyone who read my posts or anyone who remembers me, i ahve not post in a while. I am still around and am still in to the fishes :)

ANYWAY.....

I would like to add a showcase fish to my 30 gallon. You know that type that stands out admists the rest of the fish in the tank. Like a center pieace.

Here is what i ahve to far....

4 Black Neon Tetras
4 Silver Mollys
1 Dawrf Powder Blue Groumis
1 Albino Pleco (Small)
1 Albino Red Tail Shark ( Current center pieace)

I was just thinking of adding one more "larger" fish something the size of my red tail.....

any ideas? lets hear it.

ALSO, what do you ***s, and gals, have as a center peiace in your tank (Fish not ordiment)

I think your tank is pretty much stocked, and I wouldn't add anymore fish except maybe a few more tetras or a second drawf gourami (oposite gender of your current drawf gourami).

In my 5 and 10, I have a betta as a centerpiece, in my 25, I have a female three spot gourami as well as a betta. My 20 tall has no centerpiece, just two schools of tetras, although a ram, some platys or a bristlenose or queen arabesque pleco may be added.

is that not a Chilid? i think that would eat everything i have....

unless i amreading wrong.

Your rainbow shark is more likely to eat them - apistogramma species for the most part only grow to 1-3 inches.

even so, i cant puit a chiclid in this tank. It is my understanding that you cant mix chilids with tropical. Wont work.... UNLESS i am wrong. and that is possable.

If i adda small chiclid would they not eat everything in my tank?

ALSO, my rainbow shark is at about 4 in, not that big.

EDIT EDIT EDIT

What about a blue German Dawrf

apistos are cichlides that prefer acidic water, theyre not african cichlids.
they wont eat your fish.
have you had a ram before? same kind

I think a German Blue Ram would be a good choice. They're certainly colorful enough to attract attention and would be a good size without getting too large...only about 3 inches max.

You'll most likely have to find a new home for your shark eventually though.
