I now there a million of these threads out there, but could I get some suggestions for a new fish for my tank. The current residents are listed below. I kind of like to avoid any sort of neon or guppys. I was looking for an oddball type of fish but alot seem too big or aggressive. Thus far I have considerd possibly 3 Clowns, or some Blus Rams. Also considerd an elephant nose but I have read they dont get along with the ghost knife since they both use electrical navigation to find food?

Neons! I love neons!

But a Black Ghost Phantom, or a Black phantom, is also really, really cool. especially in small shoals.

Those look kind of cool!

I am a neon fan too! The only reason I said no neons or guppy is because I have a 55G filled with them. Speaking of Neon's... I was at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and they had a tank filled with probably 500 plus Blue Neon Tetras. Very cool when they all move togehter. Its a blus flash!

why dont u get a spotted puffer, they grow to be 6 inches, theier really active, look very funny, and their fins move weird as well, it'll be something fun to look at, not sure if their agressive tho, long finned zebra danios are pretty, and their FAST, they dart around the tank when their scared. maybe shrimp, im a proud owner of 2 bamboo shrimp, their keep the algea away

Congo tetras :) a nice large school would look great. I love their finnage and they wouldnt get lost in a nice big tank such as yours. Also they don't get much bigger then 3-4 inches. So they won't take up too much room in the long run. If i had a tank like yours they would definatly be my main choice of schoolers.

A school of Bosemani Rainbows. I just put six in my 72G, really like that two tune color - 4 are Blue/Yellow, 2 are Blue/Orange. Boby shape is pretty oddball, too.

Any puffer species is far too aggressive to be kept with anything but it's own species, and sometimes not even them. Sure, they may get a long for a while, or a long time, but it's very likely that something will likely just set off the puffer and it will end up killing it's tankmates, no matter how large they may be. Neons would be a snack for the black ghost. I like the rainbow idea. :)

You could have two or three pairs of rams if you wanted with all that room. :) Just be wary the betta, he may attack them because of how showy they are.

Hmmm...I know several fish that would qualify.

-Clown Loaches. Awesome fish to look at, usually very active (not only during the night) and very useful for your tank.

-Zebra Pleco. Your tank could actually support more than 1 Zebra Pleco. I am pretty sure you know what they look like, otherwise you most definitely have to do a Google.
