alright, there seems to be a discrepancy here i'd like to clear up.

EMERSED are plants that come OUT of the water and are NOT fully submerged.

IMMERSED are plants that are totally submerged and never grow out of the water.

I understood it as immersed/emergent is the same thing. Submerged means completely underwater, or saying 'completely immersed' would mean fully underwater. After some quick searching I see these are used interchangably, although more often emersed is used which may avoid confusion. FWIW my ms word doesnt even have 'emersed' in its dictionary, and suggests 'immersed' as a replacement lol.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am going to go with plants that are "submerged" as I think it will work better with the lighting I have. Just not sure which ones yet
