I have 29 gallon aquarium that is currently housing 6 apple snails. It is non-planted and has a Penguin Bio-Wheel 350 for filtration. The pH is 7.5 and the temp is 78 degrees Fahrenheit. I am looking to get a couple of medium size fish that will not harm my snail. I was considering getting either some dwarf gouramis or some German rams. Any thoughts, comments or suggestions are most welcomed.

you could go with both if you wanted.
i would go with a male dwarf gourami and then a male ram and some female rams.
you might also want to get some mid-dwelling fish, such ad tatras. a school of 6 or more diamond tetras would make you tank an awsome sight.

1 male apisto cacatuoides and a harem of 3-6 females. Not sure how they'd react to snails though.
Can't help ya there, I rarely order livestock online. My LFS usually carries wild caught ones (less colorful) for $8-10 per.
