Suggestions please for a 20 G

Three cories are fine together, I've never heard one complain. :o
May I recommend Jewlie Cory Cats, they are sometimes hard to find but they are the best looking ones. The rams should be fine, but you should integrate them v. carefully and slowly into your tank. I usually take one hour to integrate new inhabitants if they are going to have their pH changed. Ask the store what pH they are keeping the rams in, and do a pH test right before you go to pick them up at the store. If it's more than 0.5 difference, than you need to be sure to add small cups of your tank water into the fish store bag they are in over a period of one hour. I've had a 100% success rate with this method.

Yep! Sorry, Julii not Jewlie... :) But they are the best looking cory cats I have ever seen. My boyfriend keeps two in his 25 gallon, and they are nice and healthy at 4 years old.

in shellies i refer to the large group of shell dwelling cichlids of africa. alot are small , peacefull, and interesting looking. being old world the appreciate alkaline, hardish water. just do a search for shell dwellers on an engine. alot seem to be of the lamprologus genus.

The only danios I would recommend keeping in a 20 gallon would be zebras, pearls, or leopards. Giant danios will get to be pretty large and need a lot of room because they are fast swimmers. Is yours a 20 gallon long (30"x12") or high (24"x12") tank? If it's a long you may be ok with giants but that is still very tight!
