One Oscar would go good in a 75g, other options would be a dempsey, a gt, a green severum. pretty much any fish in the 7-14 inch range would make a good centerpeice, without being too small to make the tank look good. anything much bigger than 14 and you really would be better off with a 24 inch deep tank.

i use to have jaguar.. it didn't live long.. it got sick and died.. i use to have a midas / red devil.. that grew to about 10".. but that died last year.. **** that was 1 nice fish too.. would if be possible if i put an umbee in the tank? i know they grow huge.. but it takes awhile before they reach that size.
no umbee in that tank. I've also kept RD/Midas and Jaguars very nice fish mine were at least a foot and I gave them away when I moved. They were both owner responsive.
I agree, no umbee, they get quite large, males can get 2' long... Maybe a couple blue dempseys would look nice? I've read they stay smaller and are less aggressive then regular demspeys.
i ended up getting a red terror (festae).. i got a male.. he is about 3". i tried giving him some flakes this morning but he is abit scared still.. always hiding behind the heater.. the tank still looks so bare..
wat foods should i give it to ensure fast growth? i know bloodworms and prawns are high in protein.. what foods have worked for you guys?
