Suitable Bottom Feeders for 29G

Are you looking for a bottom feeder or an algae eater? If you are looking for a bottom feader I would suggest some cory's. Some of the bigger ones get 3+ inches. Good luck.

LOL..its ok...you are trying to teir your tank, nothing wrong with that. Good to have fish at all levels. Loaches are also good, just watch out for sizes :D

These are algae eaters but I have clown plecos and there max size is 4". And they do good in community aquariums.

I went to PetCo, and I didn't wanna insult the guy so I didn't say anything but he didn't know what the hell he was talking about. "Plecos are seriously the best cleaners you could ever buy, they keep it 'crystal clean' but they get up to 10" " I didn't sy anything I was just like...alright I don't like plecos...lol. So I ended up getting a Rafael cat.

EDIT:Now that Im looking at pictures of a Raffy Cat...I don't think thats what those idiots gave me.

YES! I had a hunch that might have been it - Spotted Raphael Cats(Agamyxis pectinifrons) are great! I had the good fortune to acquire a couple ancient lunkers (about 7 inches long) from the Steinhardt Aquarium in San Francisco before they closed it down to relocate. They lived in the mbuna display tank there, and they are in my 90g mbuna display tank now. They make "guest" appearances at feeding time, when they bulldoze throught the fish to eat. They are very fat and very cool! Enjoy!
