Suitable Loaches

Hi All,

Considering a 180g tank with just loaches in it. My question is, which loaches are suitable to keep with clown loaches, as they are very boisterous and I have read that some loaches do not cope well with them. I already have 6 larger clown loaches in a community tank. Any suggestions?

Also I would not be moving my exiting loaches just getting new baby clowns for the tank.

Do all of these loaches need to be in groups of five or more like Clown Loaches or are they happy with only one or two of their own kind, If their are other loaches in the tank.

Is this going to be overstocked when they grow out as I hate having to return a fish once I become attached. tank size 180g.

5 clown loaches
5 Zebra loaches
5 polka-dot loaches

The other loaches suggested with the exception of yo yo's are not easily obtained in my area.

Maybe a small group of cories for variety and some dithers to occupy the upper part of the tank.

It'll work just fine. A 180g has plenty of floorspace for 15 bottom dwellers.
