Now i can't find a lot of information on the way suncorals spread but was that some type of spores it release and are those baby suncorals?

It would appear so.. but ill leave this one to an expert

Not an expert, but they will brood planulae in their gut and release them. Think of it as egg-brooding in corals. They usually do this when they are in exceptional health, so good job .

Same as above: your sun coral reproduced and now you have a new generation in your tank. Congratulations!

Two of mine suns did that too. The single polyps will grow new polyps at the sides, forming own colony. Skeleton will start forming from the bottom. As soon as they grow to be able to pick some meaty food and you start to feed them, they will grow faster.

I'm new here and am not sure if links to other forums are allowed. But you can find all necessary information by search web for sun coral babies or sun coral spawn. Tens of people had this in their tanks.

Some illustrations:
Sun coral releases plannula (plannulae) through the only opening in their body:

Dots are plannula:

Babies (spawns):

Can be removed by picking fingernail or a dull small knife and glued to LR rubble, if you want to move them in another location:

Be careful with superglue gel on coral's body. High mortality anyway.

Same as above, budding increases with daily feedings:
