While I was trying to get a photo of my worm guest for an ID I took this photo of my suncoral after a few weeks of fattening up. I really like to see it out, it is so bright.
I spot feed mine every 2 days with mysis, krill or brine shrimp. It also get the odd floating piece of cyclopeze. After you get your own process down, they really are not hard to feed at all and are really beautiful. It took a couple of weeks for feeding every day and more carefully...but then it really plumped up.
Wow.. Doing great.. I am wondering though did it move to the upper area of your tank? I have always read that they do better under a shelf or covered area.
If you don't mind me asking...how low of light do they really need? I can't afford to upgrade my lighting yet and was wondering if there was any coral I could put in with just the regular hood light.
Yeah. I know that you have to feed each individual one. I don't think it would be that bad because there would be nothing else in there competing for food right now.
