So right now i got my baby sunfish whos about 1-1.5" in a non heated 10g tank.. His buddy in there is a dwarf cray.. The temp of tank is 68-69F. Filtration is AC30..

Im thinking of taking down the 10g tank and placing the sunfish in my main 55g tank with 2 angels/2 rams and tetras.. Temp 77-78..
I know that sunfish are a bit aggressive when they are older but just want to hear from those who have/had sunfish on what you think about this idea.. Im also hoping that the sunfish will see that the other fish are eating flakes and would go for them as well (for now only eats bbs/bloodworms)

So wat jm said is you can keep him in the 10g and get a hima bigger tank as he outgrowns it. But again your other fishes can teach him to eat flakes by just watching. My talipias had to accumilate to.

Won't he eat your tetras?

:edit: never mind - I guess at 1 1/2 inches he still has some growing to do....
