Thanks, all; probably the fish was sizing up the cat for edibility, too LOL Wish her eyes would show up properly on camera, they are the most amazing sky blue. She is a rescue someone found dumped along the side of a cornfield about 7 yrs ago, and I discovered a breed of cat called Snowshoe that look just like her. (Actually, she has prettier markings than some of the "show" cats). She is quiet and sweet and dainty, a very "girlie" cat, with a glass-breaking Siamese voice. "Blue" the gourami thinks he is a great white shark or something; we can hear him snap at his food! Still trying to find him a girlfriend. Little blue wigglies would be great!
