I was doing some searching for information on "personal" experiences with Boyd's Chemi-Pure and came across this thread:

not everything on the chemi-pure bottles is true but I would say that it is comparible to purigen and does do a good job in my tanks. It takes out a bit too much as far as metals though. It does not eliminate water changes.
