SUPER GLUE

prober, I have the feeling you are going to look back on this post in horror and think to yourself "Oh my, perhaps I shouldn't have said that."

if there is anything the folks on here are not short of, it is ideas. Just to get mine in first, how about a decent light for the 1.5 gal Tetra Water Wonders tank?

Specs: It should either fit inside the hood that comes with the stock 9-bulb LED, which to put it mildly is insufficient in the extreme, or it should replace said hood but run off the provided 12-volt transformer and wiring and be attachable to the telescoping rod that supports the existing one.

There, now don't say I never did anything for you. All I ask is for the prototype as a freebie, then you are free to sell the model and adaptor kit and become at least semi-wealthy. There are a zillion of these tanks already in use and the one common theme among owners is "This is a great tank for (bettas, shrimp, nano fish etc) but BOY does that light stink." So your market is already there. Have fun. :)

Better than super glue for this application would be silicone. I have used GE 100% silicone for projects like this. Let it cure for 24 hrs before putting into your tank.
