super red halfmoon plakats frys

2 months old halfmoon super red plakats ( import from thailand), i transfer them all in a two 5 gallon tanks, and the rest are still in thier original breeding place, im guessing more than 50 survive and i have 2 more breeding container with 3rd batch one are BLACK ORANGE palakats (import from thailand). i use freshwater rotifers and artemia to feed the youngs, but the big guys on the 5 gallon tanks are also being fed with ATISON'S fry starter food. i use boiled water that i stored to replace the water once a week

this is a 1 year old super red plakat male from my 1st batch, i sold the rest here in hawaii.

a pair of 5 gallon tanks with 15 frys each, the rest of the little one's still in the original breeding container ( seperating the big bullys, they some times eat ang kill the little one's)

i only took a picture of one juvenile from each batch

one of my breeding containers, i have 3 im thinking of going five that way i wont delay breeding the rest of my betta pairs i have 7 pairs that are ready to breed

thanks for putting this post to the correct place, anyways im planning to build a huge breeding farm back in the philippines in the future, i live in a small town by the coastline of South china sea north west of the country, heres the area where im planning to do a breeding farm, also for clown fish and Discus. my family own this huge area, perfect for breeding farm, so im just saving money for equipments to start a mass breeding for Clown fish, Discus and Bettas, saltwater will be a no worry issue, ocean is just a feet away hehe, actually this south china sea water has clown fish

i carefully breed them, i monitor what i feed them, the newly hatch frys are being fed with freshwater rotifers and BBS. 2 hours before i feed them, i feed the rotifers and BBS culture with KENT MICRO-VET and ROTI-RICH, that way the frys will eat a very nutrious food, once the frys are big enough i feed them ATISON'S fry food and BBS. also when i boil the water, i add one dry almond leaf to make the boiled water brownish.

the adult bettas are being fed with live daphnia, atison betta pro, atison betta food and dry blood worms. i skip feeding the adults once a week to prevent swim bladder problems, also everytime i change the water i add one tea spoon of salt in the fry containers (done once a week).

also the stored boiled water with almond leaf also has some salt mix in it, i use it to change the adult betta water 2 times a week.

this is how i feed each adult and juvenile per day

daphnia ( live ) -> 2 pcs.
atison betta pro (pellets) -> 2 pcs.
atison betta food (pellets) -> 2 pcs.
dry blood worm - > 2 pcs.

thats all they get once a day per fish 6 days a week (i skip one day without feeding)

well the almond leaf helps to give bettas thyere natural sorroundings, i notice that they are more active with boiled almond leaf.

my green halfmoon plakat breed for the first time
female pic not shown, rotifers are ready to be fed once the the frys hatch in 2 days, i have a 15 gallon drum of freshwater rotifers waiting for the frys.
it was a huge spawn, i notice those white thick eggs on the top of the bubble nest, they were doing the courtship for like 2 hours or more yesterday.
i never tried cross breeding colors yet, i wanna stay with the color line for now
