Super Skimmer

I got one of these with my setup that I recieved from my aunt, and so far it isnt skimming.. I took it apart and tried setting it up differently multiple times.. I've tried just leaving it running for weeks to see if it needs to break in, but so far no microbubbles or foaming at all.. I don't know what to do anymore.. Anyone ever used one? or can anyone give me advice on why it might not be skimming.. My skimmer was a hob style on my old tank and much easier to use, this one is nothing but head aches.

Did you try pulling the airline off the pump intake and cleaning out that spot with a paper clip because sometimes it gets salt build up.

I got some late night advice in the chat about that.. I cleaned it and this morning I have a nice amount of foam slowly seeping its way up the tube

Nice to here you got it working. I like those skimmers on smaller tanks, they take a little bit of work but still a nice little skimmer for smaller tanks.

yea I have a 90g with 20gsump.. I will see how it works
