I woke up this morning to find that my G/F angels had spawned!:perv: It was a shock to me because she didnt know that she had a male and female angels. so now today I get to go to my LFS and a heater and a HOB with a sponge for the 20 gallon long im setting up. When I remove the fry should I take the parents and put them in the tank too or will they eat the fry?

So much for setting up a nano reef or that GBR tank I wanted.:angryfire:

I would remove the eggs before they hatch. Much easier to raise them that way. If you want to see the parents raise the young, you should remove everyone else presently in the tank. BTW, angels will spawn roughly every two weeks if eggs are removed, less often if they expend energy caring for young. If you move the eggs only, use water from the present home in the hatching tank. Less adjustment to be made. Use an airstone to move water around the eggs constantly and methylene blue to prevent fungus. If this is their first spawning, they may eat the eggs or the eggs may even be infertile. They get better at this with practice.

I was cleaning my 30 gallon angel tank today and to my surprise I found wigglers! Now this is the pair that would lay eggs and they would never hatch. This is also the pair where the male was left for dead by anothe male 2 months ago! I am so excited! :perv:
