Do they ever fight with eachother? I know if any of my other fish go near my watchman's cave he will swim out and open up his mouth at them. I figured if there was another goby they would fight over caves all the time.

Ya, that is pretty much the most I have ever seen a goby do as well.. just open their mouths real big and maybe chase away whoever is close to their home if they didn't get the hint the first time. But I have never seen a goby get into a fight or bite another fish. I have 70lbs of live rock in a 29G tank, so there is plenty of places for them to make their own homes without fighting over one.
Thats good to know. Maybe I will get another goby at some point, I really enjoy my watchman he is such a funny fish!
Ace, I've only seen my goby go after something twice before in the tank. Once when the tang (2nd fish) was introduced it swam next to one of it's many many caves and the goby nipped at the fins pretty adamantly. Second time was when the lawnmower was introduced to the tank. Honda swam into a cave and seconds later came FLYING out of it with the goby's mouth huge and snapping behind him.
