SW: really clumsy decorator crab

in the second picture, he's looking up at you waving his arms around so he looks like a plant, I guess. If you look, you can see his little eyes on stems sticking up. Since these were taken, he has lost another leg to an unknown enemy. Still getting around the tank though. :huh:
He is adorable. They really are pretty crabs. I don't see them often around here. Well, actually... I have never seen them around here. Too bad, I would be tempted to buy one.
I had that same guy (we got our LR from the same place). I found him under the name "caulerpa crab". Mine liked to get in front of the powerhead and then hang-glide down from the top of the rocks to the sand bed. I loved that little guy but someone ate him recently...still don't know what happened. So sad. How's your guy?
LOL "hang glide" yep that's what he did. And he's gone too. Poor little idiot finally had one fight too many, or sat on the flower nem a time or two too many. He just kept turning up missing legs until one day he didn't turn up anymore. Maybe I'll get another (hopefully smarter) one when I order my rocks for my next tank!
