Thank you! He definitely is gorgeous in person, I just hope a pic will do him any amount of justice. I tried to get pics today right before I let him go in the tank after 4 hours of acclimation, but I have a window that was providing too much backlight (even with blinds) so I'm hoping to get a shot tomorrow towards evening with lights on. I can't believe how little he is. My cleaner shrimp went after him like Jacques from Nemo, rode him around the tank too haha. He's already picking at algae on the back of the tank and rocks so I'm excited about that. I'll be trying some mysis tomorrow.

Mandy-do you have a full tank shot somewhere of your tank?

I don't have any posted. I have 3 tanks, but no FTS posted anywhere lol. I've been meaning to get some posted and have thought about a blog, but I keep getting sidetracked (that dang grad school thing). I'll get some pics up soon.

Well you'd better.:D

wow! great pics! anybody have pics of a flame angel (my favorite dwarf angel) that large yellow one is awsome..what kind of angel is that and i am assuming it outgrew your reef?

The large yellow one is a Queen Angel. Really didn't outgrow the reef , can you imagine when your hobby goes so far that it gets to be way to much ?
We were having several hurricanes just before I got rid of it. (remember 03-04) I was lucky that I didn't loose power for 2 of them but had a funny feeling that the next one I would loose power. That next one was hurricane WILMA. I took the reef down just before WILMA. Otherwise I would have lost the whole thing and it would have caused a real stinky mess. As it was , it took me a complete weekend to take it down , on my time and not at a time when I would have to be at work after the storm. Also it was way to much trying to keep the condo cool with all the heat from the lighting during the summer. :wall:

Incredible timing, albeit a not fun experience, I'm sure. What size tank did you have the queen angel in?
