SW tank location

I am purchasing a 6 year old 135g established tank that currently has reef friendly fish and i will gradualy start adding inverts. I am haveing the tank moved by the company that has maintaned it at the oddice it is in now.

My question:confused: ?

Is a fairly busy living room OK for a location. I would love to have it in the room I spen most of my family time in, but with the tv kids playing blah blah blah, i am concerned that it will be to busy of an environment. I just hate to put it in an area of the house that i can't fully enjoy it in, but i don't want to get off to a bad start with location.

I have been studying up on this forum and value the oppinions of it's subscribers.
 
I don't have kids playing near my tank, but it's in the middle of my living room and sees plenty of action, loud music, etc. It's never been a problem. I say go for it - you don't want to hide the tank away in a room where you'll rarely see it.
 
My kitchen / dining room is the busiest area in my home and my 125 sits right in the middle of it. My sailfin greets me every morning and every afternoon when I get home from work and my perculas love to swim right in front of my face when I take my "break from the world" and sit for a while in front of the tank. I think the more "action" a tank sees the better. Plus you are always more aware of subtle changes in the fish and tank if it is in an area that you are in a lot.
 
thanks for the feed back. I will make it the center piece of our living room just as i wanted to. (and now when my wife watches some reality show i don't have to leave the room just focus in on a true unscripted reality show)
