Sweet deal....need advice!

I pretty much need someone to tell me what to do. There are too many pros and cons in this situation.

I've got a line on a complete 55gallon setup for $400. Includes tank, stand, coralife lunar aqualight, sump filter with built in skimmer, two water pumps, a heater and a turbo twist UV filter.

That's roughly $800 worth of stuff. The problem is that the owner wants to sell all of it as a package and all I really need/want is the light and UV filter. Purchased new, that would be $300 at least.

What i don't need is yet another empty tank. I've got three tens, a twenty, a twenty nine....all empty.

keep what you need and then sell off the rest.

I agree... If you have the time to sell off the other stuff and the space to hold onto it until it's gone, buy the whole set-up and keep only what you need.

I agree with the others. Keep what you want and sell off the rest or keep some of the items for spares.:grinyes:

Thanks everyone. I'm probably going to do that. What I'm going to have to fight is the urge to set up yet another tank. Pretty much all I would have to add is Sand, LR and Water. Voila!!!! Another tank.

Get rid of the smaller tanks and use the bigger one. Consolidate your efforts.
